Our first affiliates abroad were established in the 1950s, among others in Switzerland and in Spain. We have continuously pushed ahead with internationalizing our company ever since our first full subsidiary was established in Peru in 1968.
Grünenthal is now represented with companies in 32 countries and has production sites in six countries. Our products are available in over 155 countries and approx. 5,500 employees work for Grünenthal worldwide. The approximately 1,800 employees based in Germany come from 39 different nations.
Grünenthal has been a member of the Charter of Diversity of German Companies since 2009, and is thus dedicated to cultural diversity, integration and equal opportunities for all employees.
