Health and wellbeing

Health and wellbeing

Maintaining and improving mental and physical health is essential for everyone. We provide employees with regular training and services to support physical, psychological and social health. We also have doctors and nurses present on several of our manufacturing sites. We help working parents to balance family life with their career by providing company childcare facilities at our headquarters, as well as other childcare services across sites worldwide.

Safety first

We have a clear goal concerning safety: VISION ZERO. This goal strives for zero accidents in the workplace and zero Lost Working Days due to accidents. At our manufacturing sites, for example, employees help to prevent accidents and correct potential issues by observing the safety behaviour of their colleagues and providing feedback.

Fostering training and development

Every employee at Grünenthal is considered a talent, and the company actively promotes growth and development for all team members.

Investing in our people

Learning and development play a central role in how we support growth, foster engagement and enable long-term careers. Through regular performance and development dialogues, leaders and employees shape Personal Development Plans that reflect individual strengths and aspirations while supporting organisational needs. We invest in continuous learning through training, mentoring and hands-on development opportunities, empowering people to take ownership of their growth.

Diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities

Grünenthal’s Diversity & Engagement Strategy aims for all employees to feel valued, respected, included and empowered to do their best, bring great ideas to the table and develop their full potential.

Advancing inclusive leadership

At Grünenthal, employees benefit from a culture of inclusion supported by programmes such as leadership workshops, mentoring schemes, and partnerships with external initiatives like ‘Mujeres en Farma’ in Spain, to promote female leadership in the pharmaceutical industry. These efforts have been recognised with awards for diversity and inclusion, further strengthening Grünenthal’s position as an attractive and equitable employer.
