Aachen, Germany, 7 October 2021 – Maren Thurow has joined the research-based pharmaceutical company Grünenthal as Head Global Commercial Communication on 1 October 2021. In this newly created role, she will lead the strategic communication for Grünenthals commercial organization and position the company as a leader in pain management. She will lead a team of communicators in Grünenthal affiliates in Europe and Latin America. Maren Thurow reports directly to Florian Dieckmann, VP Global Communication, with a dotted line to Mark Fladrich, Chief Commercial Officer.
Maren Thurow joins Grünenthal from FleishmanHillard, where she served as a Director in the London healthcare team. During her time there, Maren led global communication programmes for some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical brands, coordinating multi-market campaigns to support commercial and business objectives, primarily in the areas of cardiovascular and immunology.
