Pain Insights

'Chronic pain is a leading source of human suffering and disability.' 1

One in five Europeans suffers with chronic pain.2 Despite multiple calls to action, pain management remains woefully inadequate, with many sufferers being impacted by psychological and social factors, leading to decreased quality of life.3

To offer patients more effective pain management at an early stage, a deeper knowledge of the underlying mechanisms of pain, different pharmacological principles and further options is of the highest importance to effectively tailor treatment for the individual. Our goal is to increase pain awareness among healthcare professionals, and to provide easy access to the most relevant information across a range of pain topics.
